The architecture on Tel-Aviv's Bialik Street, where the eclectic-style home of Haim Nachman Bialik (the "national poet" of pre-State days) is located, is a microcosm of the various architectural styles, including references to art deco and precursors of modernism in the city. [The street was named for Bialik during his lifetime, prior to commencement of construction of the house.] |
