Amon Gafny 1976 - 1981

Arnon Gafny 3rd Governor of the Bank had previously engaged in economic research, served as budgetary and financial advisor to the Chief of Staff of the I.D.E, and held senior positions in the Ports Authority. He had also been Director of the Budget Section, and later Director- General, of the Ministry of Finance.
